In this version, we swap traditional white rice for antioxidant-rich purple rice and boost the protein with bone broth and edamame. Spicy gochujang and chili crisp sauce brings bold flavor. It’s a colorful, satisfying meal that’s as good for you as it is delicious!

Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Short grain white rice
  • 1/4 Cup Korean black rice
  • 2 Tbsp of sesame oil
  • 1 Pack beech mushrooms
  • 1 Cup edamame
  • 1 Cup beef bone broth (Substitute for chicken bone broth or water)
  • 1 Tbsp Butter (Optional)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Gochujang
  • 1 Tbsp Chili crisp (Optional)
  • 1 Pack Seaweed (Optional)
Instructions
  1. Add washed white and black rice to rice cooker
  2. Add bone broth according to instructions on rice cooker
  3. Top top with edamame and mushrooms
    Optional - add a knob of butter for extra flavor
  4. Cook rice
  5. Fluff rice and top with sesame oil, chili crisp, and Gochujang.

  6. Top with 3 sunny side up fried eggs. Mix well and serve with seaweed!
